Giuseppe Auricchio is the Chief Learning Innovation Officer at SEK Education Group, an educational community that fosters the development of skills that guarantee relevant and meaningful learning. Before that, he was Executive Director at Grupo Proeduca, a leader in online higher education in the Spanish-speaking world, with students in more than 90 countries. Giuseppe was part of the team dedicated to developing new business opportunities via organic growth and acquisition.
He was Executive Director of the Learning Innovation Unit (LIU) at IESE Business School. Giuseppe was also responsible for IESEOnline, IESE’s online programs division. IESE’s LIU was established in 2013 as a vehicle to coordinate the continuous improvement of teaching and learning at a school-wide level. At IESE, Giuseppe was also Director of Custom Programs from 2005-2013.
Giuseppe holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Georgetown University, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School and a Doctorate in Education (EdD) from the University of Pennsylvania (Penn CLO Program).
His doctoral work focused on using blended learning in executive leadership development programmes, during which he investigated the practices of 42 senior learning and development professionals in flagship global companies.
Giuseppe’s current research interests concern the implications of digitalisation for digitalisation culture. Specifically, how the continuous change by digitalisation makes developing a learning culture a C-Suite priority and what is required to foster such a culture.
Giuseppe delivers keynote addresses at conferences worldwide and teaches in multiple executive development programmes.
