Lagos Business School is proud to announce the graduation of its pioneer Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) class. This milestone represents another landmark in the school’s history and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the pioneer DBA class.
Launched in 2021, the Lagos Business School DBA is a three-year practice-focused research programme designed to equip business leaders and senior executives with the advanced skills and expertise to create and apply the knowledge needed to address management challenges facing local and global companies and institutions for sustainable impact.
The DBA grads who were awarded their degrees at Pan-Atlantic University’s 21st convocation ceremony held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, are Dr Chidiebere Nwokeocha, Chief Client Officer at Cornerstone Insurance; Dr Odiri Oginni, Chief Executive Officer, United Capital Asset Management Limited; Dr Oluyemisi Lowo-Adesola, Chief Executive Officer, CedarLink Advisory & Management Services and Dr Chiedu Ojemaye, Head, Banking and Treasury at CHI Limited.
Professor Chris Ogbechie, the dean of Lagos Business School, lauded the accomplishments of the pioneer DBA class. “We are incredibly proud of our inaugural DBA graduates, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience, and leadership throughout their journey. We are confident that they will make a lasting impact in their respective industries and drive business success in a rapidly changing world,” he said.
The 21st convocation ceremony, a 2-day, university-wide event, was held on the 6th and 7th of December 2024 with graduates from all four of Pan-Atlantic University’s schools across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes receiving their degrees.
