Dr. Emeka (Em) Azinge holds a Bachelor of law degree from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, a Master of Laws degree in Commercial and Financial Law from King’s College London, United Kingdom, and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, with a specific focus on Strategy implementation and Competitiveness.

Em began his career in the United Kingdom as a Customer Service Advisor with British Gas Trading, Cardiff, United Kingdom, and later worked with Anthony Jeremy & May solicitors, Cardiff, United Kingdom, and George Etomi and Partners, Lagos, Nigeria, before joining Emedith Consulting Nigeria Limited and serving as its founding CEO/Head-Consultant.

As CEO/Head-Consultant, Em led the development and implementation of the company’s strategic and sustainability plan and remains an Independent Non-Executive Director of the company.
Em has also served as CEO of both Work Bay Executive International Ltd and Maverick Homes and is currently a lead strategy and sustainability consultant to these companies and is actively involved in mapping and executing their strategic direction and sustainability plan. He was equally an external facilitator at the School of Media and Communication where he facilitated sessions on Corporate Communication Strategies, and a guest faculty at the Lagos Business School, where he facilitated the module ‘Innovation and Knowledge Creation’. Additionally, Em has facilitated several management, organizational capability, and sustainability modules for various organisations including Chevron Nigeria Limited.
Em has been involved with numerous MSMEs in the areas of strategy, sustainability and competitiveness and has equally delivered numerous papers in the area of strategy and competitive positioning. He also volunteers in youth entrepreneurship via his virtual entrepreneurship capacity-building academy for indigent intending and budding entrepreneurs trying to surmount the hurdles of youth unemployment and build a sustainable brand. He is a member of the Global Coalition of Scholar- Practitioners, (GCSP), which involves scholar-practitioners tackling workplace-based problems informed by theory and research. Em is a member of the Advisory Board of Bethel Vertical Options Limited, advising on strategy, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.

Em was also a columnist for THISDAY LAWYER, with his column titled ‘Legal Catalyst’ dedicated to building and expanding the legal competencies of Nigerian legal practitioners. He is equally a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Nigeria branch) and is currently an appointed member of the Panel of Neutrals (MSME Scheme) of the Lagos Court of Arbitration. Em was also a finalist at the ESQ Legal Awards 2021 in the ’40 under 40’ category, and in 2016, he was awarded the ‘Advanced Certification in Arbitration’ by the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, United Kingdom, and in 2019 he was a recipient of the National Outstanding Leadership Award by the National Association of University Students (NAUS).
