Professor Kemi Ogunyemi

Professor Ogunyemi is a faculty member at Lagos Business School, where she teaches business ethics, managerial anthropology, and sustainability management. Her areas of interest in consulting and research include personal values, work-life balance, social responsibility, sustainability, governance, and anti-corruption risk assessment. 

Before joining Lagos Business School in 2006, she held leadership positions at the Women’s Board (Educational Cooperation Society). Additionally, Professor Ogunyemi has developed and taught management and leadership programmes for Nigerians who aspire to impact their country and the world positively. 

Professor Ogunyemi has also served in various academic and administrative roles at Lagos Business School, including review committees for the MBA and Executive MBA programmes, accreditation committees, and steering committees for school projects. Her previous positions included directing the executive and full-time MBA programmes, the Senior Management Programme and the Christopher Kolade Centre for Research in Leadership and Ethics. 

She is a member of several business ethics networks and societies, including the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN), the Business Ethics Network of Africa (BEN-Africa), the Academy of International Business Southwest (AIB-SW), and the International Society of Business, Economics, and Ethics (ISBEE). She also co-developed the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) anti-corruption toolkit and has facilitated workshops on assessing corruption risks.
