In line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Lagos Business School and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), LBS is pleased to host Muthuveerappan Thenmozhi, a professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras as she brings fresh perspectives on management education.
Prof. Thenmozhi lectures finance in the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and specialises in finance and strategy. Her areas of interest are: Corporate Finance and Strategy, Financial Markets, Computational Finance, Forecasting and Time Series Modelling, Stock and Commodity Derivatives.
During her 6-week stay at the School, she will be teaching Finance. She also plans on collaborating with members of faculty to research on some of the crucial sectors in Nigeria such as: stock exchange, stock market, banking sector, financial sector, amongst others.
Thenmozhi has more than 27 years of teaching and research experience. She has been working as a faculty at the Department of Management Studies at Anna University, Chennai before moving to Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai in 1998.
During her spare time, she enjoys reading books, practicing yoga and listening to music.
