Applications are now open for the eighth edition of the Young Talents Programme (YTP), an annual initiative by Lagos Business School (LBS) designed to mentor young leaders and empower the next generation of talents in Nigeria.

The 2-day scholarship-based programme includes career, leadership, and entrepreneurship seminars, action learning projects, mentorship sessions led by LBS faculty, as well as networking opportunities with industry experts and YTP alumni.

Participants will fully immerse themselves in the school’s culture and values while gaining invaluable practical experience that will enable them make their mark on Nigeria’s professional and ethical business management standards.

Qualified candidates from the YTP are also integrated into the LBS Management Scholars Academy, a two-year career development programme in preparation for doctoral degrees.

The LBS Young Talents Programme will:

●   Introduce participants to life in LBS as a member of faculty, researcher and administrative/operations staff. 

●   Introduce participants to a career in management research and teaching.

●   Expose participants to the channels within the school for embracing an academic career: The Management Scholars Academy and LBS DBA programme.

●   Select participants for the Management Scholarship Academy

●   Build a network of young talents.

Eligibility

●   The candidate should not be above 30 years old at the time of application

●  The programme is open to B.Sc and M.Sc graduates as well as M.Sc students

●  Candidate must have graduated with a first-class or second-class upper

●   Previous participants of the YTP are not eligible to apply again

●   Additionally, you will be required to make a one (1) minute video of yourself, highlighting how your educational background, leadership experiences, and work experience (if applicable) have prepared you for the Young Talents Programme.
