Rose ​Ogbechie

Rose Ogbechie is a Senior Fellow of the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria where she teaches Business Ethics on the MBA and Executive Programs of the institution.

She holds an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona and a second Master’s degree in Applied Philosophy and Ethics (MAPE) from Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to joining LBS, Rose had worked as the Managing Director of JMJ Consulting Ltd, a training consulting firm and as a Director in Contact Marketing Services. She was also the Director of Training at the Institute of Financial Planning/First Finance and Trust Ltd in Victoria Island, Lagos for about four years, and a banker at UBA Plc for 15 years.

Her earlier career in banking exposed her to the rigours of the Nigerian banking business environment, and running a medium size business gave her the opportunity to see the many ethical challenges which organisations face. Her expertise in Business Ethics has enabled her develop the eagerness to assist organizations learn to use ethics as a competitive strategy.

Rose consults in the broad areas of business ethics and good management practices for organizations, SMEs and NGOs. Her research interests are in the areas of ethical values, good management practices that lead to sustainability and business success. She is also interested in corporate development and growth, employee loyalty/ effectiveness and how to institutionalise business ethics in private and public companies.​
