Businesses in Nigeria are faced with several challenges one of which is the theft of business ideas/concepts. Many who are so infringed are not even aware of the wrong that has been meted them. Similarly, many who commit such infringements are not explicitly aware that they have committed a crime. This for the most part is due to ignorance on what constitutes intellectual property and intellectual property rights.
It is important business owners have the necessary knowledge to protect themselves against theft of their ideas and innovations. On February 24, the Christopher Kolade Centre for Research in Leadership and Ethics (CKCRLE) at Lagos Business School will be hosting a FREE webinar on Intellectual property and the Protection of Business Ideas in Nigeria.
